Now Hiring! Program Manager, Rural Health Transformation Pharmacy Initiative

 

The Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA) is seeking a highly organized Program Manager to lead the Rural Health Transformation Pharmacy Initiative, a statewide grant-funded effort focused on strengthening rural pharmacy practice and improving access to care in rural Ohio communities. Read more about the Rural Health Transformation Pharmacy Initiative here!

The Program Manager will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the initiative, including finances, project timelines, meetings, partner engagement, pharmacy site communication, deliverable tracking, and reporting support. This individual will collaborate with OPA staff and report to the Director of Public Health Initiatives and CEO to implement the grant. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, proactive, and skilled at turning broad goals into clear actionable steps.

Ideal Candidate 

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys structure, follow-through, and organization. They are comfortable managing details, overseeing a budget, tracking deadlines, sending reminders, documenting progress, and helping partners stay accountable. This person should be confident in keeping a complex project organized and moving forward. 

Position Impact 

This role will be essential to moving the Rural Health Transformation Pharmacy Initiative from planning to implementation. The Program Manager will help ensure that grant activities are completed on time, partners remain engaged, pharmacy sites are supported, and project outcomes are clearly documented. 

Expected Salary  

Commensurate with applicable education, background, and experience.
