Job Title: Supervisor Pharmacy
Reports to: Department Manager/Director

OSHA Exposure Level: 3
Manages the day-to-day operational activities of the department/unit. Supervises the work of employees.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance to the established FMC policies, procedures and guidelines.
Licensure: Licensure in pharmacy required
Bachelor’s degree or higher in the applicable field of study required plus whatever education is required by subordinate staff (if applicable).
Experience: Three years experience in a charge or supervisory role preferred.
Job-related Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; ability to problem-solve and facilitate resolution to issues; demonstrates ability to handle multiple priorities; ability to make independent decisions.

Acts as manager in his/her absence.
Interviews and makes hiring decisions of new employees.
Assigns work and follows up on work on of the employees.
Prepares and delivers performance appraisals.
Monitors educational requirements of staff.
Oversees orientation and onboarding of new employees.
Administers disciplinary actions.
Coaching and development of staff.
Assists with budget preparation and monitors compliance with expenditures.
Maintains schedule and assures staffing levels are appropriate.
Develops, facilitates and implements departmental projects.
