The University of Findlay’s College of Pharmacy is seeking qualified applicants in the discipline of pharmacology at the Assistant Professor level for a 12-month faculty appointment in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Candidates should be prepared to fully participate in teaching and scholarly activity in a curriculum devoted to promoting the collaborative practice of pharmacy. Classes are small and professors teach in an interactive manner in a team-taught integrated curriculum. Candidates should possess excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, and be dedicated to student-focused education and innovative practice. Scholarly activity and service to the College and University consistent with a student-centered school are expected. This position is available for the 2018-2019 academic year. The primary responsibilities of this position include instruction of pharmacology in our Pharm.D. curriculum, research and scholarly activity, advising and mentoring students, and other service activities in the College and University. A Ph.D. degree with relevant training and expertise in pharmacology is required; preference will be given to candidates with post-doctoral training or previous teaching experience as well as eligibility for licensure as a registered pharmacist in Ohio.
